This hands-on stained glass workshop welcomes both beginners and returning students into a shared studio class focused on learning practical skills and creating finished work. Whether you’re brand new to stained glass or ready to build on prior experience, this class offers structured guidance with room to grow.
Beginner students will be guided through the full stained glass process, including pattern design, glass cutting, foiling, soldering, and finishing. No prior experience is required, and all materials are included.
Intermediate students will work more independently on designs with added complexity. This level is intended for those comfortable cutting glass beyond simple straight lines. Tools and studio materials are provided, though students should bring their own glass.
Instruction is led by Lisa Beckman, an accomplished artist and educator with decades of experience teaching stained glass and studio art throughout Hampton Roads. This class is ideal for adults looking for a creative outlet, a new artistic skill, or dedicated studio time in a supportive setting.
